I’m a Teddington resident and Mum to 2 fur babies Dudley aged 10 & Dave aged 4.
Before I qualified as a dog groomer, I started to groom Dave at home. He was rescue dog, a COVID reject that had a rough time in his first home, and had issues with people touching him. So much so that he was banned from three grooming salons and we reached a point where he was having to be sedated at the vets to be groomed!
This is when I decided to start grooming Dave from home, gently getting him use to the clippers and gaining his trust, he slowly started to let me groom him.
I think he’s almost starting to enjoy it, well the treats and the fuss that’s made of him anyway!
Last year I decided to go the next step and became a qualified dog groomer and I absolutely love it!
Running Paws2tails from my home means there is only one dog being groomed at a time so that’s less stress , less noise and no need for cages.
